Most frequent questions about getQR

1. Is getQR only for businesses?

No. getQR is for companies, freelancers, and individuals. Anyone can create an account and manage QR codes easily.

2. What is included in the standard (Basic) account?

Basic includes core QR types such as website, files, gallery, video, e-vCard, WiFi, SMS, and calendar. You also get dashboard access and open statistics.

3. How much storage do I get by default?

Each user gets default storage space. If you need more space, check Premium options or contact support.

4. How does the Premium account work?

Premium unlocks advanced features like QR Payment and API tokens. New users receive a trial after registration, and admins can assign or extend Premium manually.

5. What is the difference between Files and Restaurant: QR + PDF menu?

Files is for multiple downloadable documents. Restaurant: QR + PDF menu is for one PDF file that opens instantly as a menu after scan.

6. Is my QR data secure?

Access to QR management is tied to your account. Sensitive types can be password-protected, and public links work only through specific QR tokens.

7. Do you support password-protected QR content?

Yes. On supported types you can enable password protection (Premium feature). Visitors must enter the password before content is shown.

8. Can I edit QR content after creation?

Yes. In admin you can edit QR codes, replace files, add new items, or update text values without generating a new code.

9. What happens when I delete a QR code?

When deleted, the QR record and associated media are removed so unnecessary data does not remain in storage. This keeps storage clean and efficient.

10. Is the API available for everyone?

API docs and tokens are available for Premium users. Generate your token in profile and then manage QR codes through the REST API.

11. Can I use my own logo in QR codes?

Yes, Premium users can set a global logo used for existing and new QR codes. This is configured once in the My QR Codes section.

12. Do QR codes work reliably on iPhone/Safari?

Yes, the app is tuned for Safari too. We still recommend testing the final QR flow on both iOS and Android before launching campaigns.

13. How do I get support if I run into an issue?

In admin, use the Messages/Support section to send questions, ideas, or bug reports. You receive replies in-app and by email.

14. Can I delete my account?

Yes. Profile includes account deletion with safety confirmation. Before deletion, we recommend exporting or backing up important data.

15. Can I upgrade from Basic to Premium later?

Absolutely. You can start with Basic and upgrade to Premium later when you need advanced features like QR Payment, API, or enhanced branding.

16. Can I use the app for multiple projects at once?

Yes, you can organize QR codes by names and categories. This lets you manage multiple campaigns, clients, or locations from one account.

17. Do you have a newsletter for updates?

Yes, the homepage includes a newsletter form. Subscribed users receive updates on new features and system releases.
